On Wednesday 16th October we hosted our annual Year 7 Concert in the St Cecilia Auditorium. The programme included interform class song performances, solos from our talented Year 7 singers including an Ed Sheeran classic, performances from students taking instrumental lessons, the Jazz Band, Choirs and a wonderful finale medley of Classic ABBA hits. It was a wonderful afternoon and a great opportunity to showcase the many talented singers and musicians we have at EMCS.
For many of our students, this was a first experience of large-scale live music making, performing on stage as a choir of 180 students accompanied by our incredible Jazz Band. We are very proud to offer this opportunity each year to every student in Year 7.
