English Martyr’s Catholic school recently welcomed 90 of our incoming year 6 students to participate in three days of Maths, English and Team building activities as part of our Transition Summer Camp.

The students had a wonderful few days working on key skills in English and Maths as well as getting to know the school in preparation for them arriving as year 7’s. The summer school was run by Regency Camps who commented that our students were some of the politest and well-behaved students they have worked with.

The week concluded with a graduation ceremony in which students received a certificate and a fantastic prize of a £50 voucher to spend on school equipment. Many thanks to all our staff who came in to support with the camp and giving up some of their holidays to help out.
