Remembrance Week, 8th – 12th November

As part of our Remembrance liturgies, 12 Sherwin led our collective acts of worship. We remembered the extra-ordinary sacrifice ordinary men and women made for our freedom.

It was very moving to have our reflections led by students of a similar age to those who lost their lives for our freedom.

On 11th November, students across the school prayerfully paused for the national silence.

Students from across our whole school community gathered for Voluntary Mass on 12th November to remember their loved ones. Fr John Cahill led 182 students in our act of remembrance, with music chosen and performed by A Level music students.

The book of remembrance was placed before the Altar as we remembered all those who we love and have lost.

The book of remembrance is now located in our Chapel.
