The Annual Trust Speech Competition finals took place this morning at St Paul’s School, with Alexandra from 8CA and Isabel from 9WA representing the Junior and Senior categories, respectively.

We are thrilled to announce that Isabel was recognized as a runner-up in the Senior category! Her thought-provoking speech, titled “Does Society Know How to Live in the Moment?” captivated the audience with its inspirational and insightful message.

Alexandra also delivered a remarkable speech on “The Importance of Diversity in Schools,” confidently advocating for the changes needed to enhance her educational experience. Both students demonstrated excellent skills in answering questions, showcasing the hard work and dedication they put into preparing for the competition.

It was wonderful to have their parents and Mr Calen present to offer support, and they certainly made a lasting impression on Mr Lockyer as well.

Congratulations to De Lisle, who won the Junior category, and St Paul’s, who took first place in the Seniors.
