Following the King’s coronation weekend, students from Year 7 journeyed to Castlerigg in Keswick for a four-day residential retreat.

We spent the week looking at the theme of growth, which looked at our own spiritual growth as well as aspects of the environment and how we might be better stewards of God’s creation.

Castlerigg’s stunning setting in the Lake District was the perfect environment for students to be inspired on their daily walks through forests or around Derwent Water. This was also an opportunity for students to socialise and continue to build our school community by getting to know each other better. The students were a credit to themselves and to the School.
