On Tuesday, our Year 9 and 10 High Flyers took centre stage in an exciting Dragons’ Den presentation, passionately arguing why their companies should be permitted to conduct animal testing. Over the past few weeks, students collaborated with our Sixth Form Champions to explore the complexities and ethical considerations surrounding this controversial topic.
The presentations were impressive, showcasing a deep understanding of the subject matter. Each group delivered well-researched arguments and compelling ideas. A huge congratulations to all participants for their hard work and dedication!
Special recognition goes to our winning teams:
- Year 9: Group 12, who focused on the role of animal testing in environmental research.
- Year 10: Group 7, who discussed the importance of animal testing in the development of pesticides.
As the competition wraps up, our High Flyers are now turning their attention to an important follow-up task: writing an essay on the question, “Should animal testing be banned?” We look forward to seeing how their research and insights evolve in this next stage of their learning journey!
