The vast majority of students have gained places at their first-choice universities, including many at coveted Russell Group universities. A significant number of students also achieved straight A*/A grades.
Amongst those celebrating is Erica who achieved 3 A* grades and proceeds to Cambridge University to read History with a Choral Scholarship at Queens’ College. Congratulations also to Blix who achieved 3 A* grades. Other English Martyrs’ students will study Economics at Durham and Leeds universities, Neuroscience at Nottingham University, Aerospace Engineering at Sheffield University, Mechanical Engineering at Loughborough University and French and Economics at Warwick University, to name but a few.
Principal, Mathew Calen said: ‘Given that this year group had their GCSE exams cancelled in 2020 and the disruption of Covid, we are so proud of them all for the resilience they have shown and wish them every success in the next stage of their lives.’
