The Science Department were delighted to host Prakhar Singh from Cloudfare, based in Netherlands, to deliver an inspiring talk to A Level Maths and Physics students about careers in Cybersecurity. During the presentation, he spoke about what cybersecurity is, potential careers in this field, as well as give advice on how to enter this industry. This was followed by an opportunity for questions, where eager audience members asked about topics like the future of artificial intelligence and its dangers, as well as how quantum computing is being used in this field. Overall, it was very interesting and informative, and helped students to understand this area of work, as well as encouraging them to consider a career in cybersecurity.
