On Tuesday 7^th November the BBC Bitesize Tour hosted their careers roadshow at English Martyrs. The aim of the Bitesize tour is to raise awareness of career aspirations to secondary pupils across the UK and to give them practical advice on how they can pursue a career in a variety of setting.

Led by experienced presenter Kathryn Wilson, she spoke to 3 professionals, Casey Whearity, Ritchie Phillips and Jas Harrod, in a “panel-style” set up. They covered a number of different topics such as relevant qualifications, personal anecdotes, advice on work experience and key soft skills for the workplace.

There was also an opportunity for students to ask the panel questions, via a “rugby ball”,  which went down very well! Overall, a fantastic day spent with the BBC and their production team.
