On Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th November, more able students in Years 7 and 8 Aspire Clubs were challenged by the History Department to investigate the mystery of the Princes in the Tower.

These interactive sessions required students to use their detective skills to decipher clues, evaluate sources and debate competing theories.

Motivations of key figures such as Richard III were interrogated and traditional interpretations were disputed.

Ultimately, the students had to make an evidence-based judgement – were the Princes murdered and by whom, or did they in fact survive?

These interactive sessions complement the ongoing access to The Week Junior for all members of Aspire Club.

We look forward to the next Aspire Club sessions led by the French Department on 23rd (Y7) and 24th May (Y8).
