As part of their end-of-year local History project on the life and times of Richard III, Year 7 students took a fascinating trip to Bosworth Battlefield on Tuesday 24th June.
Students explored the very ground where the pivotal Battle of Bosworth unfolded. Through interactive tours and storytelling, they gained insights into the events that brought the Tudor dynasty to power.
The day also included time in the engaging Tudor exhibition, where students deepened their research into the period. A definite highlight for many was the chance to take part in hands-on drills and manoeuvres used by Pikemen of the era — a fun and memorable way to experience life as a soldier from the 15th century!
A big thank you to Mr Kaczmar for organising such an enjoyable trip.
