On 10th June, a group of Year 7 girls—Emma, Zuzanna, Nicola, Elodie, Pearl, Oheema, Amelia, Alyssa, and Natalie—represented English Martyrs at the City Rounders Competition held at Sir Jonathan North School.

The team played exceptionally well throughout the event. They kicked off the evening with a thrilling 5–4 victory over Brook Mead, followed by a close 3–2.5 win against Babington. In their final match, they faced the hosts, Sir Jonathan North, and secured a 6–5 triumph.

It was a fantastic evening of sport under sunny skies, showcasing teamwork, skill, and determination. A special mention goes to Pearl for her excellent bowling, and to Alyssa and Nicola, who stood out as the star batters of the evening.

Well done to all the girls for their brilliant performances and for representing the school with such enthusiasm and sportsmanship!
