The Year 10 Boys football team had a busy week, with two impressive victories in both the ESFA National Cup and the West Leicester Schools League.

On Monday, the team made the journey to Beaumont Leys for their ESFA National Cup match, where they faced a tough challenge. After falling behind by a goal, the boys showed remarkable resilience to fight back and level the score. The match was eventually decided by a penalty shootout, and the team held their nerve to convert all five of their spot kicks, securing a well-earned victory.

The very next day, the squad travelled to New College for the West Leicester Schools final. Competing in a round-robin format against New College and Brook Mead, English Martyrs emerged as champions of West Leicester for the fourth consecutive year. Their dominant performances saw them defeat both teams to take home the trophy.

Congratulations to all players and coaches involved in these outstanding achievements. Stay tuned for upcoming fixtures as the team looks to continue their winning streak!
