English Martyrs’ students were overjoyed this morning as they collected their GCSE and level 2 BTEC results. Following on from superb A- level results last week, English Martyrs’ students have again achieved a fantastic set of results and improving on last year’s results.
Across all subjects, 75.7% of students achieved five or more 4+ grades including English & Maths. We are delighted to share that 76% of our students achieved a grade 4+ in English & Maths and 57% achieved grade 5+ in English & Maths.
Principal, Mathew Calen, commented:
‘We are extremely pleased that our students commitment has been rewarded with these fantastic results, this is testament to their hard work inside and outside the classroom, it is also worth noting that this cohort had a disrupted start to their secondary education making these results even more pleasing”
We are very much looking forward to welcoming Year 11 students into our Sixth Form (along with applicants from other schools) as they embark on the next stage of their education.
