The Year 10 Netball team played at the City League on Tuesday 19^th September on Soar Valley grounds. In the first game against Madani Girls School, our girls went in strong and won 8-2. The second game, against Avanti Fields, was a tighter competition. After the first quarter we were tied with 1-1, with some excellent defence from Jemima, Efundem and Berlinda. After an improved second quarter we managed to pull through and win with 2-1. The third game was a convincing win against Soar Valley who we beat 8-1 on their own grounds. The fourth game was Castle Mead who challenged us in a healthy way. Consistently throughout the game, shots were being made and we were constantly tied in score. Our attackers, Oluchi, Caroline, Liz and Kunashe successfully managed to secure 5 goals. In the end, we drew with 5-5 which motivated the team to maintain focus. The last game we played against was New College and we ended with another win 4-1.
