On Thursday 1st and Tuesday 6th October 2020, 176 Year 10 students completed Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training as part of the British Heart Foundation's Restart a Heart Day which took place during Physical Education lessons.
Mr Nicholson, Head of PE reports:
As part of this annual training event, students learn about the importance of CPR and build confidence in their ability to perform it, if ever required. All students involved treated the topic of CPR with great respect and maturity whilst taking the opportunity to ask relevant and purposeful questions.
Everyone who participated in the session will receive a Restart a Heart Day training certificate which they can add to their Record of Achievement folders. It was a pleasure to be involved in such an important educational event in school and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the students involved.
