Y8 Black Country Living Museum Trip

On Wednesday, 23 November, 106 Year 8 historians travelled to the Black Country Living Museum, to develop their knowledge as part of our Slavery, Industrial Revolution and Empire unit. We experienced a demonstration as to the dangers of gas in the mines, watched a chain for a ship’s anchor being made, as well as visiting a toll house and General Store. Many students also enjoyed the delicious traditional fish and chips, which was certainly a highlight for the staff.
