On Tuesday 28 February, Mr Carr led an interactive assembly with Year 10 on self-regulation. Using audience participation and some very impressive magic tricks, Mr Carr practically demonstrated the value of self-discipline, practice and hard work.
In the lead up to Year 10 mock exams, this assembly is part of ongoing support for students in understanding how to organising their time productively (e.g. using the Pomodoro technique of 25 minute blocks of learning), preparing and practising strategically and being resilient to maximise the impact of revision and help wellbeing.
