Once again this year the Sixth Form will be leading students in celebrating the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. During break time on Friday 27th September, everyone will be invited to have a drink and a cake and we hope that everyone will take part. This gives us the chance to raise money for Macmillan nurses who help people living with cancer.
Cancer is an illness which affects many families. Macmillan Cancer Relief is a charity that provides expert care and emotional support for cancer patients and their families. By raising as much money as we can, we will support their excellent work.
To help us make the morning a success, we would like students to bring cakes and biscuits into school on the morning of the event. They are asked to take these to the School Office.
Students will be able to purchase a drink and cake for £1.00 during our extended morning break and at lunchtime.
We would like to invite parents and friends to the school in the afternoon from 3.00pm – 3.45pm, to participate in this event which will take place in the Exhibition Space in the St Cecilia building. Unfortunately, parking will not be available on- site at this time. Please park on nearby roads.
Last year we raised £1000, let’s beat last year’s amount!
I look forward to seeing as many parents and friends as possible.
