This morning, Year 13 students attended a university finance talk given by De Montfort University Schools and Colleges Recruitment Officer, Laura Rowe. The presentation was based around student funding, budgeting, bursaries, support funds, debt management and changes affecting students' finances.
The talk was keenly anticipated and welcomed by the students who showed their appreciation by asking a further 30 minutes' worth of questions at the end of the presentation. Laura commented that the students were so polite, asked great questions and that it would be a pleasure to come back to the school at a later date.
