Sixth Form Taster Day
On Friday 10 February, students in Year 11 had the opportunity to take part in a Sixth Form taster day. Those taking part were able to experience a day in the life of an English Martyrs’ Sixth Form student.
An exciting programme was created for the day, including the opportunity to follow a full timetable of Sixth Form lessons, make use of Sixth Form facilities and Common Room and wear Sixth Form dress code. An enjoyable day was had by all.
We wish all of our Year 11 students every success as they approach exam season, and we look forward to welcoming many of them into our Sixth Form next year. Year 12 Conference Day On Friday 10 February, our Year 12 students took part in a Conference Day, designed to complement our Year 12 curriculum. Students participated in tailored talks and workshops that covered key areas such as study skills, exam writing skills, time management and student wellbeing. Students were also given the opportunity to look ahead to Higher Education and employment pathways. The Conference Day proved to be a great success, with students feeling excited about planning the next stage in their academic careers.
