Leicester City Council has contacted us to say that the application form for post 16 SEND Home to School Transport for the 2019/20 academic year is now live on the Council’s website. The form and further information on our policy change can be found on the website here.
Parents of students who will be post 16 for the new academic year and currently receive school transport assistance will need to re-apply for 2019/20. The council contacted parents in November last year to inform them of the change to policy and will be contacting them again shortly to let them know the application form is now available and they need to apply. Any parents to whom this applies should be aware that they need to apply and that the closing date for applications is 31st March 2019 in order to ensure everything is in place for September.
