Restart a Heart Day

On Wednesday 9th October, 183 students from Year 10 participated in CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training as part of the 'Restart a Heart Day'. Two paramedics from the East Midlands Ambulance service came into school and delivered training so that all of our year 10 students could learn how to perform correct CPR. Students also had the opportunity to ask inquisitive questions about First Aid and what to do if another human being requires CPR. All students involved completed the training with great maturity and appreciation for such a serious but worthwhile topic and all will be awarded certificates later this term.

Thank you to Mr Nicholson for setting this up.
