Students in Years 7 and 8 have so far tracked an incredible 139,175 minutes (and counting) during our sponsored Readathon for Read for Good, consistently leading in the Leicester Half a Million Minutes challenge against other schools in the city. They have also raised £100 to take beautiful, unopened, brand-new books and visits from magical professional storytellers to children in hospital!
Their efforts have been rewarded with not only another bundle of books for our school, but they have unlocked another wonderful Book Box to go out to a setting in need in the local community. Our Year 7 Reading Ambassadors have nominated LOROS Hospice to receive a Book Box.
