This Advent, our students have succeeded in bringing Hope, Peace, Joy and Love in their journey to encounter Christ in the Nativity, in those around them and in the wider community.
Our fundraising efforts began early, with a non-uniform day in aid of Nottingham Diocese Catholic Youth Service (NDCYS), which provides youth retreat experiences at the Briars and supports youth ministry in our schools.
Ever keen to support the wider community in these challenging times, our students exceeded the challenge to donate one item each for the Charity Link food bank or City of Sanctuary, contributing almost 2000 items in total.
On our 'Christmas jumper' day, students brought joy to the school community and help to those in need by donating to Loros and Cafod.
In these uncertain times, the students' enthusiasm and willingness to offer new and imaginative ways to prepare throughout Advent for the joy of Christmas has enabled the whole school community to express the four Advent themes of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.
Wishing you all a Christmas filled with hope, peace, joy and love as you encounter Christ.
