Leicester MusicFest 2018's grand opening will be an exciting production of this favourite Baroque opera
Featuring Stephanie Wake-Edwards (Contralto) and James Newby (Baritone), Hesperides Quartet on period instruments,Leicester University Chamber Choir and English Martyrs' Schola Cantorum.
The performance will be introduced by Nigel Simeone (of BBC Radio 4's Tales From The Stave), and the evening will close with a celebratory drinks reception. Tickets are available at the door price £15, £6 students, under 19s free.
