Year 9 music students are preparing for their visit to Carducci-King School, Casoria, Naples next week. As part of the school’s international programme, organised by Miss Lee, and thanks to a grant from the European Union Erasmus+ scheme, students will be making music together with others from France, Finland, Italy, Spain, and Romania.
Pictured here in rehearsal with Mr Carney, the group will spend next week at school in Italy, living with host families as well as attending lessons and rehearsals each day. They will be performing a number of pieces including Susato’s La Mourisque and Glenn Miller’s In the Mood at a concert in the church of St Paul the Apostles at the end of the week.
