During the week commencing Monday 30th January, English Martyrs' will take part in a Careers Transformation Week.
Principal, Mr Calen, has invited parents, students, staff and governors to attend a workshop that will help us shape an enhanced careers strategy for our students.
The school’s middle management supported by the Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership will work through a process to design and implement a progressive careers programme that will support students, parents and teachers to understand the wide range of pathways available to young people, enabling our students to approach the future with optimism and confidence.
Local employers will also support the process, providing insight and guidance on the skills and attributes they are looking for in their future workforce. The Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership will also talk about how our school can build sustainable links with local businesses and industry.
Members of staff, senior leadership team, school governors and Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership team will discuss the key challenges and practicalities of embedding careers across the school, to further enhance our careers programme.
