LOCAL GOVERNING BODY
English Martyrs’ Catholic School Local Governing Body is currently made up of 9 governors who are from different categories – Foundation Governors (appointed by the Diocese) and two Parent Governors.
The role of the Local Governing Body of a Catholic School is detailed below in the fact sheet from the Catholic Education Service and the Nottingham Roman Catholic Diocesan Education Service. This document also explains what it means to be a local governor in the school and who is suitable to serve as a local governor.
