Every day will begin with an assembly to launch the day's sessions with input from subject specialists.

Taster Sessions

​

Taster sessions will take place throughout Tuesday 23rd - Thursday 25th February 2021.  

 

Each day will focus on a particular area of the curriculum:

​

• Tuesday 23rd

English, Humanities and the Social Sciences including Psychology and Sociology

​

• Wednesday 24th

Mathematics and the Sciences

​

• Thursday 25th

The Arts and BTEC subjects

 

Post-16 / Careers Talks

 

To support you in preparing for your future, we also invite you to attend talks led by our specialist teachers.

• Tuesday 23rd

Applying for Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities

• Wednesday 24th

Applying for Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry

Careers in Engineering

 

• Thursday 25th

Everything you need to know about studying BTECs

 

How to sign up?

 

Complete the Microsoft Forms sign-up sheet which has been emailed to you. Select the sessions you wish to attend and submit your form. Please complete your choices by midday on Thursday 11th February.

You will be sent a Teams invitation to your sessions nearer the time. 

 

Want to attend sessions for subjects you haven't chosen?

 

Absolutely. If you wish to find out more about a subject, you can attend a taster session whether it is one of your options or not. The only constraint is that you are limited to one session per time slot.
